The Events Committee plays a central role in planning and supporting UGFOA’s major gatherings, including the Spring and Fall Conferences as well as the quarterly Lunch-and-Learn events. Members of this committee help shape agendas, coordinate logistics, and ensure that each event delivers value and connection to attendees. The Membership Committee focuses on building and sustaining a strong, active community of government finance professionals. Responsibilities include reviewing and recommending bylaw updates, developing strategies for member recruitment and retention, overseeing the mentorship program, maintaining the job posting board and online forums, and leading advocacy efforts that support the needs of our members. This committee is ideal for those who want to help grow UGFOA’s impact and make sure every member feels connected and supported.
